Short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and InvestorMath doesn't collect, store or sell information about you.

What you type into a calculator

All calculations happen on your own device. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or to anyone else. They appear in the page address (URL) only so you can bookmark or share a scenario; if you share that link, whoever receives it can see those inputs.

Analytics, ads, cookies and third-party scripts

None. The site's pages load no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or other third-party scripts, and set no cookies. Every script and stylesheet comes from InvestorMath itself.

What is stored on your device

Only your light/dark theme choice, saved in your browser's localStorage under the name im-theme. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Hosting

Like any website, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider, which necessarily processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to send you the page. InvestorMath doesn't use that information to identify or track you.

Error reports by email

If you report an error, your own email app sends the message, so we receive your email address and whatever you write. It's used only to check and answer the report.

The newsletter isn't live yet, and no email addresses are collected. Once it is connected, the signup form will send the email address you enter to beehiiv, the service that will store the subscriber list and send the newsletter. beehiiv handles that data under its own privacy policy. Every issue will include an unsubscribe link.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, such as the IRS, the SEC's investor.gov and TraderToolStack. Those sites have their own privacy practices. See the disclosure page for how links are chosen.

Changes

If this changes, for example when the newsletter launches, this page will be updated first and its date changed.
